Just  Coffee Mission and Goal

On a Corporate level, Just Coffee was started to provide living opportunities to the coffee growers of Salvador Urbina.  The Corporate Mission is to provide the training and resources to create a sustainable small-scale international coffee company that is owned and controlled by the coffee growers, thus shifting or redistributing the profits from large international non-local companies to the members of the community.  The Corporate Goal is to create a sustainable local business that employs members of the community in both the agricultural, production and management/administrative functions.  Justice in the wages, justice in the practices justice with the environment and just treatment of all involved is an overriding concern for all aspects of the business.

 

Our Company Mission, Goals and Objectives

Just Coffee’s Company Mission is to deliver the highest quality, organic, environmentally consciousness fresh roasted coffee to our customers at a price that fair and just.  Our Company Goal is to create a bond between the members of our community, Salvador Urbina and our customers through superior customer service, delivery and a commitment to integrity and excellence in all aspects of our business.

The Financial benefits of Just Coffee are significant when compared to either Fair Trade coffee or local purchases.  For this reason we are already seeing an impact with respect to migration.  Beyond the financial foundation, the value of a sustainable locally owned business to both the cooperative members and residents of Salvador Urbina is clear. 

Your coffee purchase is having a direct and dramatic effect on this community.  The excitement over the performance in our first year is only matched by the anticipation and dedication to the future.
  Training, jobs, and the multiplier effect of the resources coming into the community are remarkable.  The cooperative members and community are truly putting aside differences to come together to provide an excellent, chemical free, environmentally friendly product and business that focuses on Just relationships, just practices and Just Coffee!
